Family Photos '09

We decided to get some family pictures done before baby Nixon arrived. yes in about 108 degrees. That's how we do it here in Arizona. Our friend Natalie Montez took these amazing photos and if you would like to see other work please go to www.photosbynatalie.com.

What our days are like in the Shumway house.....

After breakfast we head to the gym for the boys to interact with lots of other kids and mommy gets to make her spinning class. Continuing to work out while pregnant has given me the energy I need to keep up with the boys, thats for sure!!

We wake up and start immediately to play.
When it isnt 115 degrees we like to be outside and eat our lunches.
Puzzles are always fun for Kaden especially when Jack isnt hiding the pieces.
We get to build a castle at least a couple times a day.
Going swimming is the thing to do I just cant keep thier suits on!!

After dinner we then have to patiently wait for a our favorite daddy in the whole world to come home from work. Tomorrow we will do it all over again!!

What a fun game of Apples to Apples that Rand even Rand played his very first card game. We are so proud of him. I think he was even winning!!



We couldn't help ourselves try it out and even little Jack loved the water.

Everybody rented bikes and we followed a beautiful bike path. What a fun day.
